A little bit about myself...

 

 

Hi, my name is Lisa Parizek, thanks for checking out my website.  I am the owner of Happy Daze Design in Omaha, NE.  I feel very lucky that I have found a way to make a career out of what I love to do.  I get to paint whimsical, fun rooms that light up kids faces!  Even you parents get pretty happy after I have completed a new space in your home.  "It's better than what I imagined" is a phrase I hear a lot.

 

I have been happily married to my husband Brian for the last 25 years and have 3 amazing daughters: Sidney, Emma and Lucy. They are the reason I started this business nearly 17 years ago.

 

As a kid I loved art.  When I entered college at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, I majored in Fine Arts with a Graphic Design emphasis. After graduation I managed a Sign Company, this is where I got the experience with vinyl that brought about the glass blocks that I do.

 

The custom murals are my favorite thing to do, the whole room is my canvas!  I scatter art around and use space up high and down low keeping in mind that you still have to put furniture in there. I freehand everything in chalk before I paint so you can approve before I start.  I'm very easy going and strive to really listen to what you want.  It is my goal to light up those faces and hear "It's BETTER than what I imagined...I love it!"
